Ka – Lakbay
Ka-Lakbay The Directory for Catholic Youth Ministry in the Philippines is a document which “defines” Catholic youth ministry in the Philippines – in the sense that it lays down the necessary elements to give guidance and efficacy to it. This is a gift of the Episcopal Commission on Youth to the present and future generations of Filipino Catholic youth ministers, a resource for helping and empowering them. More deeply, it is a gift from God to the Filipino youth and youth ministry, thanks to the Holy Spirit’s inspiration to human agents. The JAYC Website will be publishing one article from the Ka-Lakbay each week. The youth and youth ministers of the Archdiocese of Jaro is invited to read and reflect on these articles for us to have a greater understanding of our identity as Filipino Youth.
Youth Cathechesis
YOUCAT (Youth Catechism of the Catholic Church) was launched on World Youth Day 2011 was developed with the help of young Catholics and written for high-school aged people and young adults. YOUCAT is an accessible, contemporary expression of the Catholic Faith. It is accessible via the JAYC website where we will publish one question each week. Our guests especially the youth are invited to take time in reading and in praying with the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
